The GVC Removable Data Module (GVC-RDM) fits the Galleon Ground Vehicle Computer, providing an extremely flexible storage solution to suit the target application. The GVC-RDM can be exchanged in the field in seconds, with no tools required and is rated for 100,000 insertion cycles.
The storage module uses solid-state storage (SSD) modules with NVMe and SATA options. Two individual SSDs can be fitted supporting capacities up to 8TB total.
For additional security, optional AES 256-bit encryption may to the RDM by using suitably firmware-enabled SSDs. Further security enhancements such as quick erase and secure erase are supported on selected storage media.
