Galleon’s XSR at the Sea-Air-Space Conference and Symposium

The annual Sea-Air-Space exposition and conference will take place between April 3rd to 5th in National Harbor, Maryland. Sea-Air-Space provides numerous networking and business-generating opportunities for businesses who serve the military industry. Additionally, Sea-Air-Space brings together professionals from the military and international maritime industry to discuss the latest developments, most up-to-date information regarding the current state of the industry, as well as provide a detailed vision for the future of the industry via educational seminars, open forums that feature keynote speakers, and a luncheon with relevant individuals from the industry.

The primary goal of Sea-Air-Space is to promote and advance the maritime industry, as well as to provide a platform for the exchange of ideas and information related to maritime security, technology, and operations. The event also serves as a showcase for the latest advancements and innovations in maritime products and services.

The trade show is a major component of Sea-Air-Space, providing exhibitors with a platform to showcase their products and services to attendees. Exhibitors include shipbuilders, equipment manufacturers, navigation systems providers, and many more. The trade show allows attendees to view the latest technologies and products that are available in the maritime industry and provides a forum for companies to engage with potential customers, partners, and investors. Galleon Embedded Computing will be attending Sea-Air-Space and will focus on the maritime applications of the XSR Rugged NAS. The XSR Rugged NAS is a network-attached storage device designed specifically for use in rugged environments. The product is able to withstand extreme temperatures, shock, vibration, and humidity, all of which are common in maritime environments. The XSR Rugged NAS is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +71°C and can withstand up to 40g of shock and 2g of vibration, making it an ideal solution for use on ships, submarines, and other marine vessels. Additionally, the XSR NAS is equipped with AES-256 encryption, providing secure data storage and transfer.  This is particularly important in the maritime industry, where data security is a critical concern due to the potential risks of cyber-attacks and data breaches. The XSR Rugged NAS’ compact form factor allows it to be easily integrated into the existing infrastructures within a vessel, making it the ideal solution for maritime operations where space is limited.
